Victron Energy Inverters are a combined inverter and charger. They can accept two AC inputs and automatically connect to the active source. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology plus multiple system integration features such as three or split phase operation and parallel operation.
The SmartSolar MPPT RS solar charge controllers are Victron’s solution for systems with large series connected PV arrays charging 48 V DC battery banks. This product is perfect for large off-grid, and grid connected battery systems.
Lithium Ion Batteries for Reliability and Low Lifetime Costs
Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries are know for their stability and reliability. They do not need to be fully charged and have a long service life. Service life even improves in case of partial charge instead of a full charge. This is a major advantage of LFP compared to lead-acid. Other advantages are the wide operating temperature range, excellent cycling performance, low internal resistance and high efficiency. Lithium ion batteries save 70% in space and weight when compared to their lead-acid counterparts. The higher cost of LFP batteries is easily compensated by their longer service life, reliability and efficiency.
Remote Monitoring
Halcyon Energy Power Electronics can be remotely monitored from anywhere in the world with our integrated cellular modem and remote monitoring platform: Victron VRM. This free platform is available from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC for multiple operating systems. There is no end to the level of control, from adjusting system configuration to auto starting a backup generator.
Hyperion Power Electronics
The Halcyon Energy Power Electronics includes the brains of the system known as the Halcyon Power Electronics Package. The power electronics package is engineered and sized to meet the Client’s energy needs. It includes Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, inverters, charge controllers, the HMI and related ancillary equipment.
The power system is generally mounted on a standard sized shipping container, however, can be optionally mounted on an open frame of the same dimensions to reduce weight and height.
