Intermodal Container Solar Generators
Flexibility, portability, and durability make the Hyperion Class Solar Generators ideal for shipping container mounted solar installations. The simple modular design can be scaled up or down to meet your energy requirements.
The innovative design enables two Hyperion Class Power Units to be attached to a standard 40 ft shipping container. This configuration provides a maximum power output of 12,000 Wp in the tri-fold (Model W) configuration.
The Hyperion Class Solar Array contains one, two or three solar panel frames, each housing five 400 Wp solar panels. The base solar panel frame is engineered to attach directly to the roof of a standard 20-ft shipping container. The base solar panel frame is also engineered to support a second or third hinged solar panel frame that can be folded between the closed and open positions and set to the optimum angle to capture the sun’s energy.
The Hyperion units can be stacked together for compact transportation.
Hyperion Model X
The standard model Hyperion Solar Array consists of a flat 5-module solar structure that includes corner castings for easy and secure connections to a standard 20-ft shipping container. A single Model X solar array set on top of a 20-ft office trailer supplies enough energy for receptacles used to charge batteries for tools, computers and mobile phones. In addition, the power system also satisfies the typical interior and exterior lighting demands.
Hyperion Model V
An open framed 20-ft Hyperion Class power system with a bi-fold configuration, installed on a container or frame, supplies 4,000 Wp. The trailer allows the unit to be easily moved as required to boost pressure for irrigation of various crops.
Hyperion Power Electronics
The Hyperion Class Power Unit includes the brains of the system known as the Halcyon Power Electronics Package. The power electronics package is engineered and sized to meet the Client’s energy needs. It includes Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, inverters, charge controllers, the central control unit and related ancillary equipment.
The power system mounts up to the Hyperion Solar Array frame assembly and can also be mounted inside the container or outside on the ground.
