Halcyon engineers and managers have decades of experience in the power and water industries. The Halcyon team shares their engineering, management and construction experiences, successes, and lessons learned. They introduce effective analyses and management techniques to the client’s power and water professionals and encourage organized and planned growth.
The Halcyon team work together with the in-country professionals from the beginning of each project through commissioning. Together, the joint team develops the mission and goals, planning strategies, budget requirements, scopes of work, scheduling and staffing requirements.
Halcyon realizes the importance of well-managed system installations and gives equal attention and guidance to the construction activities supported by the “boots-on-the-ground”.
Construction Management
Every well designed and planned project has many challenges during construction and commissioning. Whether it be scheduling, logistics, procurement, unexpected site conditions – the list can be endless. Halcyon works with the in-country staff to help keep job tasks on track, focusing on achieving successful completion of every project within budget and schedule.
Training
The Halcyon on-site management group shares their experiences and supports knowledge transfer to its client’s project workforce. Training incorporates both formal (classroom) training and on-the-job training. Each morning during construction, the staff starts its day with a morning tailboard where the days activities, lessons learned, and expectations are disseminated and discussed.
